How to Replace a Trackball

Steps for replacing trackball assembly.

Depending on how we will receive the track ball from the factory (part list) you can follow the steps for the trackball cleaning but add in the below steps

Starting from this step in the cleaning article (step 8)

Unplug the wires from the PCBA

Cut zip tie

Remove broken trackball

Plug in the new track ball to the PCBA

Screw the track ball into the control deck (4 screws)

Put the control deck cover back on (7 screws)

Put control deck back on the cabinet (4 screws)

Plug in ribbon cable to control deck (M)

Put back panels on

Plug in and turn on
